General competition regulations

The Athletics Federation (Atletiekunie) competition regulations apply to all parts of the RUN, unless stated otherwise below.

Music during the race:

  • 10x10 km relay:
    Running with music is allowed.
  • 50 km and 100 km:
Running with music is not allowed. This will be checked.

Always take into account:

  • other participants on the course.
  • vehicles from the organisation, emergency services and support crews that need to be able to pass.

Dutch Championships 50 km and 100 km

The Dutch Championships 50 km and Dutch Championships 100 km will be run at the same time as the open race.

Clothing

  • Club kit is not required, but is appreciated, especially during the awards ceremony.

Collecting your bib number (Dutch Championships participants)

Are you taking part in the Dutch Championships? Then you will only receive your bib number after your ID has been checked. You must show a valid proof of identity:

  • passport or identity card

Please note: a driving licence is not accepted.

Mandatory e-learning (for Dutch Championships participants)

Are you taking part in the Dutch Championships 50 km or 100 km? Then you are required to complete the Doping Authority e-learning.

Which modules do you need to complete?

  • Bronze (mandatory)
  • Silver (mandatory)

So you cannot complete Silver only. Bronze is the basic module and contains additional information.

Why is this mandatory?

The RUN and the Atletiekunie stand for a clean and fair sport. With the e-learning, you will be well prepared and you will know:

  • what doping is
  • which rules apply
  • how doping controls work

Where do you take the e-learning?

You can find the modules via: elearning.dopingautoriteit.nl

Do you not speak Dutch?

  • The Bronze module is available in English.
  • The Silver module is only available in Dutch.

If this does not work, you can take the I Run Clean programme via: europeanathletics.elearning.worldathletics.org

Important! Then send your certificates to: wedstrijdsport@atletiekunie.nl

Validity of previous modules

Have you completed the e-learning before? Then your modules are still valid at this time. If this changes, the organisation will inform you in good time.

Problems with your e-learning?

Have you completed the e-learning, but the organisation is not receiving confirmation? Then one of the situations below may apply.

Common causes and solutions

  1. Privacy setting is not set correctly
Log in again and set your privacy setting to ‘optimal’.
  2. Incorrect sports federation selected
Add the Atletiekunie as your sports federation (maximum of 5 possible).
  3. Different email address used than with Atletiekunie (Volta)
Add your Atletiekunie membership number (competition licence number).
  4. Bronze and Silver completed with different accounts
Add your Atletiekunie membership number to both accounts.
  5. Everything updated, but still no link
Synchronisation happens once a week (Sunday to Monday).

Do you need clarity sooner?

Email your certificates and explanation to: NK@atletiekunie.nl. On working days, your details will be linked manually.
