The Lopersdorp of RUN Winschoten 2026
The Lopersdorp is the vibrant heart of RUN Winschoten. This is where teams come together, relay changes take place, people cheer, and you can relax between laps. The Lopersdorp is located on Stikkerlaan, right by the start and finish, next to the sports hall and opposite the entrance to the WVV football park.
The Lopersdorp is intended for relay teams. For participants and the public, the site is freely accessible.
Placing tents
After 1 August 2026 (end of pre-registration), you will receive an information email from the organisation asking whether you are interested in placing a tent in or near the Lopersdorp. This email will be sent immediately after 1 August.
- There is space for approximately 45 to 50 tents.
- The layout is entirely determined by the RUN organisation.
- In the information email you will receive additional explanation and practical instructions.
- Full = full!
Setting up tents
- Set-up possible from: Friday 11 September 2026 at 11:00.
- For set-up, report to the entrance of the Lopersdorp.
- A clearly visible member of the organisation will point out your spot.
- On Friday you can park nearby temporarily for unloading.
Tents placed before Friday 11 September 11:00 will be removed.
Important set-up rules
- Tents must be placed with the short side facing the course.
- Cars are not allowed in the Lopersdorp.
- Open fires are prohibited.
- Sponsor displays are allowed in consultation with the organisation.
Catering in the Lopersdorp
In the Lopersdorp, a cosy catering square will be set up with seating and music.
Children have also been considered. The aim is to make the atmosphere around the relay as lively as possible.
Payment at the catering points is by debit card only.
Coffee and tea
From 08:00, coffee and tea are available at a reduced rate.
Payment is only possible by debit card.
Ordering and returning tokens
Tokens are breakable tokens (some products cost, for example, 2.5 tokens) and are available for the Friends of the Run.
- Price per token: € 3.25 (incl. VAT)
- Order: up to and including 16 August 2026 via penningmeester@runwinschoten.nl (per 25 pieces)
- Tokens are invoiced (incl. VAT)
- Payment deadline: 30 August 2026
- No tokens will be delivered in case of late payment.
Delivery and refund
- Tokens will be delivered to your tent on Saturday 12 September 2026 between 08:00 and 09:00.
- Additional orders during the RUN are not possible.
- Afterwards, you can hand in remaining tokens at the information desk near the sports hall
- Use the provided bag and state: team name, recipient name, number of tokens and bank account number
- Take a photo of the note yourself for your own records.
- The refund will follow in September 2026.
Traffic and parking
Stikkerlaan (from the WVV football field to the Beertsterweg roundabout) will be completely closed to traffic on Saturday 12 September 2026.
- Cars are not allowed in the Lopersdorp.
- Parking at shops is not allowed.

Approximately 180 parking spaces are available here. Parking attendants will be present. From this location it is about a 400-metre walk to the Lopersdorp.
Electricity, water and toilets
Electricity
- There are a limited number of 220V connections.
- Only intended for coffee/tea and cooling drinks.
- Connecting beer taps and sound systems is not allowed, unless provided by the organisation.
- Bring sufficient waterproof outdoor cables yourself.
Water
Opposite the Lopersdorp there will be a water tap point, made possible by Waterbedrijf Groningen.
Toilets
- Toilets are located at the start/finish, between the Lopersdorp and the sports hall.
- In the sports hall itself there are toilets for people with disabilities.
- Water from mobile toilets is not suitable as drinking water.
Security
During Friday night 11 September and Saturday night 12 September 2026, limited security will be present in the start/finish area.
